The date is set for the return of AquaFest, San Diego’s Largest Family-Friendly Pool Party at the Clairemont Swimming Pool! Mark your calendars to swim, splash, and play with us on Sept. 14, 2024 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m, and enjoy a day of family fun. Admission is FREE!

AquaFest showcases our Clairemont swim community, improvements made to the pool, and swim safety education. Features include:

• Recreational swimming for families
• An inflatable obstacle course
• Foam party (ideal for ages 2-9)
• Live Music
• Swim safety demonstrations on appropriate life jacket use, rescue techniques, CPR, and first aid
• Parent & Tot swim lesson workshop (ideal for kids ages 6 months to 3 years)
• Appearances by San Diego Fire Safety and San Diego Lifeguard Service
• A simulated emergency response drill, showing an in-water rescue by City of San Diego Pool Life Guards and transfer of care to Falck ambulance personnel
• Snacks will also be available for purchase inside the pool area, with funds raised benefiting the Clairemont Pool and its programs

The event is hosted by the City of San Diego Parks and Recreation Department Aquatics Division. AquaFest is held on the same day as Clairemont Family Day at the South Clairemont Recreation Center. Free parking and shuttle available from Clairemont High School. Clairemont Pool is located at 3600 Clairemont Drive, San Diego, CA 92117.
