If you have already signed the petition we thank you! We need to keep going.
The next step is to participate in Public Comment, for the May 3 budget hearing. Here is the agenda. Throughout the Budget Review Committee hearings, Public Comment will be heard during each subitem. This can be done a few different ways:
You can attend in-person on Friday, May 3 at 9 a.m. at City Council chambers, 202 C. Street in Downtown San Diego and give testimony in front of the council.
Can’t attend in person? You can participate and provide comment:
- Via telephone / Zoom (see below for specific instructions to join Friday, May 3)
- Use the Budget Review Committee webform:
- Indicate the agenda item number and sub-item letter for which you wish to submit your comment. For this purpose, our agenda item number is 1, and the sub-item letter is J.
- Comments received by 8:45 a.m. will be distributed to the Committee and posted online with the meeting materials.
- All webform comments are limited to 200 words.
- Comments received after the day of the meeting but before non-agenda comment is called and will be submitted into the written record for the meeting
- Email submission – here’s a link to elected officials and community representatives
- Or via U.S. Mail of written materials.
